How it works

Rest, press, turn: the cutter does the work

Place the edge of your nail in the curved opening and press the button. A small cutter inside trims the nail back as you turn your finger slowly, so you get an even edge all the way round. There are no clipper jaws to squeeze, nothing to slip, and the trimmings drop straight into the catcher.

Calm and quiet

Quiet enough for a late-night trim

At about 45 dB it hums rather than buzzes, so you can tidy your nails on the sofa while someone sleeps next door. One button runs it, and the angled cutting head reaches all the way round each nail without any awkward twisting of your wrist.

Questions, answered

Does it work on toenails?

Yes, on regular toenails that fit the opening. Very thick or hard toenails take longer and may not fit, so keep a traditional clipper for those.

Could it nick my skin?

The cutter sits inside the head, so only the nail edge goes into the opening. Keep your fingertip flat and still, turn slowly, and stop if you feel any pinch. Don't use it on skin or cuticles.

Is it loud?

No. It hums at about 45 dB, around the level of a quiet room, so it's easy to use late at night without waking anyone.

Does it leave sharp edges?

It trims the nail back evenly as you turn your finger, for a neat edge all the way round. For an extra-smooth finish, follow with a quick pass of a nail file.

How do I charge it? Is a cable included?

It charges through a USB-C port at 5 V. A cable isn't included, so use any USB-C phone cable you already have.

How do I clean it?

Open the clipping catcher, tip out the trimmings and brush the cutting head clean. Don't rinse it under the tap or put it in water.
